We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Director to join our team. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for our residents in a nursing home or assisted living facility. ```Responsibilities```
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
- Plan and organize events, outings, and group activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
- Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and community resources to ensure the successful execution of activities
- Assess the individual needs and preferences of residents to tailor activities accordingly
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity outcomes
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages resident engagement

```Requirements```
- Previous experience in caregiving, event planning, social work, or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Knowledge of senior care principles and best practices
- Understanding of the physical and cognitive challenges faced by individuals in memory care or assisted living settings
- Ability to adapt activities to accommodate residents with varying levels of mobility or cognitive abilities
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
